Applications can be obtained through the Guidance Office at either Grafton High School or St. John’s High School
The James A. Koshivos Memorial Scholarship is in memory of James Koshivos, known as Jake to those close to him. He lived in Grafton and graduated from Saint John’s High School in 2018. He then attended Bryant University where he was a member of the Sigma Chi Fraternity and graduated with a degree in Business Administration.
James was an extraordinary person in all aspects of life. He loved helping others and his sense of humor and kindness touched all who met James. His love and drive for philanthropy was something to admire about him and all those he helped.
This scholarship fund is to help a student who plans to pursue a higher education. It searches for a student who is dedicated to achieving a higher education as well as has a love for philanthropy.
The James A. Koshivos Memorial Scholarship:
One high school senior will be awarded $1,000.00 scholarship.

One teacher/academic recommendation
One leadership/character recommendation*
High School Transcript
Short Essay
*The leadership/character recommendation cannot be from
the same person as the teacher/academic recommendation
